Chicco's Got Adopted!!

Yep, that's right. I met with J & G tonight in their home in Woodside and they were an amazing couple! They had a little terrier mix named Franny too so Chicco (now named Kevin) has a little sister!! (she's not even a year yet) The 2 got along so great and J & G really took to Kevin so fast! I knew just from talking to J that they were going to be a perfect match but I still had my guard up and had to make sure in person they would click and they absolutely did. I heard Kevin crying when I left and that literally broke my heart. I cried the whole way to my car. I only had him for 3 days but grew so close with him in those short days! He was one of the sweetest dogs, so well behaved. Just very loving. I'm really happy we found him his furrever home though! He deserved it so so much! Hopefully I'll be getting a new foster in a day or so. Just waiting to hear back from them. I'm thinking once I get a new foster, my heart will be healed a little and it'll get easier for me.
